With a degree in Viticulture & Oenology, 4 harvests across the globe, WSET qualification, and 10 years in hospitality, it is safe to say I am a friend of the grape. Wine is not just my career, it is my passion and a passion I wish to share with you.

My Odyssey

I have always had a passion for writing and felt it a true expression of myself. I was never truly confident in sharing it with others or sure how I would differentiate myself in a sea of travel blogs. My odyssey has taken me far and wide, with wine being a later but integral part of it. That is when I got the idea for “The Oenodyssey”, combining my passion for travel, wine and writing with wine professionals and enthusiasts alike, to build a community.

Building a community

The wine industry and the community I have met through it, hold a special place in my heart. However an issue I have faced whilst on my oenodyssey is inaccessibility and gatekeeping of information. I wanted to create a platform to share stories, tips and tricks from viticulturists & winemakers. To create an educative platform for wine enthusiasts and anyone that might like to tip their toe in the world of production. There is a reason we are an industry of passionate people and I think that passion deserves to be shared.
